Live4 launches – content marketing with a bang!
What do you Live4? It’s a question we don’t often consider – we’re usually too caught up in the daily grind of work, bills, our commute, lack of sleep, family stresses… the list goes on. But give it a moment. What do you Live4?
Is it travelling the world and seeing new places? Spending quality time with your family? Supporting your footy team? Is it music, or film, or heading out and drinking with your mates? Is it the weekend? Or is it your new car?
Tuesday saw the launch of Live4, a new interactive website that we here at King Content have been working on for almost a year, and it’s filled with all kinds of things that people live for.
Live4 is pretty much the content marketing ideal – it’s got loads of articles, interviews, reviews and features. It looks good, and everything has been designed to be enjoyed, shared and responded to by the target audience. Alongside the website, we’ve launched a Facebook page, along with a Twitter account (@Live4au), and Google+ page. The combination of good content, making good use of social channels and smart SEO is at the core of what we’re all about.
We were truly blessed with this project to be working with a client, NRMA Motoring and Services, who understands the power of content marketing when it is done right – and they really wanted us to do it right on Live4. It was also a great example for us about the results that can be achieved when you get into the process early.
In essence, having awesome content is at the heart of Live4. Create content that your audience wants to consume and people will stick around and come back. To help make the content appealing, we brought on a bunch of celebrities, such as Stuart MacGill, Zoe Foster, Tim ‘Rosso’ Ross and Haley Lewis, who wrote fun and relevant blogs for the site. This instantly garnered the site some considerable interest, and we’ll be continuing to have new celebrity blogs going up every month.
We kicked off the launch of Live4 on Tuesday with some great PR, courtesy of our friends at Maverick. A competition was run, and the winners got to climb aboard the Live4 Joyride bus, before being whisked away to either an adrenaline-fuelled jetpack session with celebrity TV host Tom Williams (for those who live for adventure), or off to Hugos at Manly for a cooking masterclass with top Sydney chef Massimo Mele (for those who live for fine dining and cooking).
With the site only just launched, it’s already had loads of hits, and the average user is staying on the site and clicking through from page to page, viewing over half a dozen articles. That in itself speaks volumes, and shows that people are actually browsing around and exploring the site – just as we had hoped!
It’s early days for Live4, but all the signs so far are very promising. So, what do you Live4?
